I have used MEI for the last 4 years after they acquired the locally owned company I was using called Michigan Elevator. I like to use local vendors for my service contracts as I find they are more responsive and simply care more about my business, that said, I was slightly concerned when MEI took over my contract, on the contrary, after 4 years I can confidently say I have zero concerns with the service I receive from MEI. On of the main reasons for my confidence in MEI is that my service/sales rep from Michigan elevator, Jerry Solomon, joined MEI and has continues to be my rep, which has given me a great level of comfort based on the relationship we have developed over 17 years of working together. However, I also must say that every person I have worked with or met who is part of MEI has been outstanding, from Duncan, who completed major renovation work on our 6 elevators, to Joe and Todd who service my cars to this day, MEI feels like the local companies I prefer to work with, even though they are substantially bigger in scale. I highly recommend MEI for any of your elevator needs.
